Lexi Guerra: Welcome to another edition of Lexi sits down with a 5BW Fighter. My name is Lexi Guerra! In this edition, I am going to interview current Five Boroughs Wrestling Fighter and NEW Uprising Silver State Champion, Hayley Fien!!
Hayley Fien: Thank you for having me!
Lexi Guerra: It’s my honor to have you on the show. I want to congratulate you on winning the Silver State Championship! Is this your first championship?
Hayley Fien: Yes it is. This is my first championship in my short career and never would I imagine being a champion. I always thought I was going to win my first championship in Five Boroughs Wrestling, but it was Uprising. Everyone in both companies are happy for me.
Lexi Guerra: I am impressed with this. A lot of people would think you would never win a championship within a couple of years. Let’s talk about your time in Five Boroughs Wrestling. How is everything going for you there?
Hayley Fien: You know, it’s pretty good. I know I’ve been coming up short, but I have the drive to never give up. That’s what I was told when I went through the tough times, especially when I had a lot going on regarding my personal life.
Lexi Guerra: Speaking of which, you were in a relationship with Noris Cranley for the time being. A lot of people want to know what exactly happened with the both of you. Can you explain?
Hayley Fien: I really don’t want to get into detail because that’s between him and I. Though going our separate ways was mutual and understandable. I wish him nothing but the best in his life and will remain the best of friends. Right now, I want to talk about my career instead of my personal life.
Lexi Guerra: I will honor that for you. Back on topic, with you being the Silver State Champion, are there any plans for you to possibly chase titles in Five Boroughs Wrestling?
Hayley Fien: In a way I do, but at the same time, I want to focus on being the Silver State Champion. I know I have a tough challenge coming soon at Canadian Conquest, but at the same time, I have my eye on the people my opponent surrounds themselves with. I have Philadelphia blood in me, I am not going to back down.
Lexi Guerra: Speaking of Philadelphia, you tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleading squad and made it. How come you didn’t accept it?
Hayley Fien: My brother passed away when I got the call and I couldn’t accept it. My mom was struggling and she needed the money. I had to take up a cocktail waitress job where jealousy was a ugly thing before I went to wrestling. If you want to look at a success story, it’s me.
Lexi Guerra: While looking back at your short wrestling career, I’ve noticed that you faced off against Brittani Helms and Kelly Penkzee-Nelson. How did you manage to work well together?
Hayley Fien: When I faced off against Brittani Helms at Vendetta One, it was a time where our country was at a hard point. Sure she may have won the match, but it was a learning experience for me. When I faced off against Kelly Penkzee-Nelson or KPN, it was to make me better. That’s what I learned from her.
Lexi Guerra: That’s a really good answer. Now, let’s see what the twitter people have to ask you!
Hayley Fien: Sure! Bring it!
Lexi Guerra: First one is a questionable one…
Hayley Fien: When you retire is when I will lose the championship!
Lexi Guerra: OOF!!!
Hayley Fien: I am feeling pretty great after my match up. I know it was a long time coming for me and winning the title.Griffin Hawkins was a tough opponent for me and he was throwing everything he got, and I threw everything back. Will round two happen? Who knows?
Lexi Guerra: That is a good answer.
Hayley Fien: It was one of the fiercest rivalries I’ve gone through and some of the toughest fights as well.
Lexi Guerra: That is a good one right there.
Hayley Fien: I have learned a lot since being a wrestler. You have to stay humble and you have to stay true to yourself. You have to be humble and respectful to say at least to go far.
Lexi Guerra: I must say. Is there anything you have to say?
Hayley Fien: Just be caring and ready for what is about to go down! You will like it come 2022.
