Alright, everyone! We're flying out of February and marching into....into March....you know what? That works. I'm keeping it. After spending three nights in Vegas to watch the Denzel Porter Invitational, I flew across the country to Atlantic City for Action Wrestling's own casino themed show. It was all worth every minute, mile, and spin on every slot machine I played! Now that I've finally gotten some sleep...for 14 hours, it's time to recap the final Clash and CruiserClash of February!
Top Story: Return of the King
Corey Black def. Downfall, Dionysus, Regan Voorhees, Jill Park, Johnny Bacchus, and Carter Shaw in a ladder match to become #1 Contender for the World Title
What a showcase of violence this was! Seven competitors put it all on the line for a shot at the pinnacle of Action Wrestling. Grindhouse got involved and attacked Vanguard. Those two teams will face off for the Tag Titles in a couple of weeks, and this only poured gasoline into the flames of hatred between them. It was only a matter of time before bodies were laid out all over the place, but when the final bell of the night rang, it was none other than the King of all Wrestlers standing tall over his fallen enemies. Kudos to every one of those competitors in that match. Corey Black will be getting his first World Title shot since Uprising six months ago, and he'll be looking to capture his second Action Wrestling World Heavyweight Championship against Dandy DiVito at Battlebowl.

And speaking of the World Champion.....
CJ Phoenix def. Dandy DiVito by referee stoppage in an Unsanctioned Match
Have you ever seen a sports game between two of the league's top teams get hyped up and then get caught off-guard when the game ends in a rout? That's what this match was. A non-title war between US Champion CJ Phoenix and World Champion Dandy DiVito that was expected to go down to the wire. However, after spending all night underestimating his opponent to the point that he told Richard and Ronan that he wouldn't even need them, it wouldn't take long for Dandy to regret that decision. Phoenix flat out destroyed DiVito from start to finish in a match that served as a massive statement win for Phoenix and a wake-up call for DiVito, who can ill-afford to severely underestimate his opponent again when he defends the World Title against Corey Black.
Generational Wealth
Serenity Holmes def. Jessie Lee for the Women's Championship
One of the youngest pro wrestlers out there is now one of the youngest champions ever! Though she may not be old enough to gamble, Serenity Holmes definitely hit the CruiserClash Jackpot when she won her first title in Action Wrestling. Sporting a perfect 3-0 record alongside her newly won Women's Championship, Serenity is exceeding the already high expectations of being the daughter of Andre Holmes, proving that she's not just a daughter. She's the future.
Not So Gentleman
Two Gents def. Rulers of Our Kind via pinfall(Teo pinned Kitsumi)
This one was a complicated situation from the start. Even though it was a tag team match, the competitor who scored the decision would walk out with the Cruiserweight Championship that Andre Jenson held heading into it. Naturally, there was temptation for deception, and it showed. Most notably, it showed when Teo Blaze broke HIS OWN PARTNER'S pinfall attempt, preventing Andre from winning the match and defending his title successfully at that moment. On top of that, it would end up being Teo himself that wound up winning the match and the Cruiserweight Title. After the match, Andre reluctantly showed forgiveness, but that must've been an awkward walk back to the locker room.

The final pieces of the Battlebowl card come together while big time matches are in store for us from the Big Easy! I've been informed about a few things so far regarding the upcoming shows in NOLA. Chase Jackson returns to in-ring action, Joey Bunga has a roster announcement to make at the start of CruiserClash, and the contract signing for the World Title match will happen on Clash.
