Inside of a private studio of E-Wrestling News, there are two couches set across from each other with a table between both of them. The lighting is well placed for the center of the studio where the center of attraction will be ; Denzel Porter sits on one couch and is dressed professionally. Denzel opens with a greeting.
Denzel Porter: Thank you for tuning in on this day, and I do have a special guest here with me: a star of Project Honor and of course one of the most talked about stars of today Savannah Andrews Please give her a warm welcome ladies and gentlemen.
Savannah Andrews: It’s an absolute pleasure to be here today. Can’t thank you enough for having me.
Savannah makes herself comfortable on the couch, one leg crossed over the other as she settles down.
Denzel Porter smiles at the camera as Savannah takes her seat.
Denzel Porter: I'm glad you could join me today,Savannah, I know how busy of an important person you are to the business, and I'm just happy to sit across such a legend in this business.
Savannah Andrews: Ah, it’s nothing. I’m just glad to be here. Been a pretty crazy past couple of weeks. Months, really.
Denzel Porter: Oh trust me I've been keeping up with you at Project Honor and I must say you are very strong from what you've been through since the last time I saw you at The DPI. Can you tell the people at home what it's been like dealing with Holt?
Savannah Andrews: Man, doesn’t feel like I’m very strong sometimes. But, you do what you have to when it comes to keeping the people you care about safe. Where do I even start? I guess I should start from the beginning. It started with Redd, who no one knew who he was at the time. He was stalking someone else before me, but I guess his attention turned a new tide when I got involved in bigger pictures. It started with attacking the people I love, first Nathan, who is the younger brother of Jason Long. Then, it took a really bad turn.
Savannah pauses for a moment, picks up her water bottle, and takes a nice long sip to calm herself down a bit. She’s always hated talking about the experiences she’s had.
Savannah Andrews: Redd’s goon squad attacked Nathan when he was on his own in Jason’s locker room at the time. After that, it all just took a complete turn. Redd started finding ways to cause tension between me and Jason, who at the time, was my boyfriend. Then, he started intefering in a really important thing for me. I was facing off against Pixie Sloane for the Noble Championship at the time. He and his minions found ways to trip Pixie up or to take her out of the picture, just to help me win. But, I didn’t need his help. I could have gotten the job done on my own.
Savannah Andrews: Though, I guess the most sadistic part is that Redd tried to murder Jason Long.
There’s a brief moment that Savannah pauses, stopping in her train of thought as the memory hits her like a train.
Savannah Andrews: That should have been the sign for me to stay away from him. But, it wasn’t enough for him, it was never enough for him. He had nearly succeeded in killing Jason, but… You can’t kill someone who’s made of tougher stuff than you are. Anyway, Redd ended up being revealed to be Arik Holt who was the GM of Fallout at the time. It wasn’t something anyone had been prepared for, really. Let’s speed this up: Arik Holt gets revealed to be Redd, Arik Holt challenges me that same night to a match at Night of Honor, which he unfortunately won. Arik formed True Society not long after and it fell to shambles. I joined True Society because I thought it was the only way. I thought giving Arik everything he wanted, I thought doing everything he asked of me was the right decision…
Savannah pauses again, licks over her lips in trepidation.
Savannah Andrews: But, I was wrong. Men like him can never change. In fact, Arik Holt wasn’t who anyone believed him to be. He was never actually Arik Holt, but his twin brother, Andrew Holt. Whom had taken over his brothers life and made it his own. Absolutely insane, right?
Denzel leads back in his seat and takes everything in before sitting back up with intrigue.
Denzel Porter: My God, I don't think I have ever met someone as mentally strong as you, Savannah, but that dam Andrew Holt is a psycho straight out the looney bin. Now I know talking about this more might bring back bad memories, but I have had reports saying you were forced into a marriage. Is that information accurate?
Savannah Andrews: Unfortunately, marrying Andrew was a decision of my own choice. I know, it sounds absolutely insane when I say it out loud. But, he had already done so much damage to people I cared about. I guess I was afraid that he’d be pushed over the edge and snap if I said no to him. But, thankfully, I found myself a good lawyer and the marriage will be anulled with zero issues real soon.
Denzel Porter: Well that is good to hear and glad you are able to break away from what has been a dramatic experience but is it over with Andrew? Do you think he'll always lurk in the shadows, or will he move on to someone or something else?
Savannah Andrews: I think that… Andrew has left a lot of irreparable damage to a lot of people involved in the things he’s done. I’ve always been a firm believer in trying to find the good in everyone. But, I learned a long time ago that Andrew has no good left in him. If he can nearly kill someone I loved, if he can lay harm to my family, if he can lay harm to me? That’s not love. I don’t know if we’ll ever be rid of him entirely, but I do know that I’m going to do my damndest to ensure he doesn’t want to show his face again after Public Execution.
Denzel Porter: Oh yes, Public Execution is an event I am excited to see, and I will be in attendance for it as well. Now I know Andrew will be taking on my guy LIL PETEY who I have predicted to win, and I hope Andrew doesn't take it personally. Now how confident are you in LIL PETEY to win this match?
Savannah Andrews: Unfortunately, this is the last round for the Lil Petey Retirement Tour, so I’m hoping Petey manages to put Holt through a world of trouble. I’m not set for any matches or anything, so I promised to keep a close eye on the match and if anything gets out of hand, I’m going to make sure someone’s there to prevent Andrew from running away like the coward he is. I’m confident that Petey will absolutely come out on top in his final match.
Denzel takes a cloth out of suit pocket and wipes some tears from his eyes.
Denzel Porter: I'm sorry, it's just so sad to see Lil Petey's career come to an end; I've always been such a fan of his and hope he goes out on top, now shifting focus back to you. Once you've put Andrew in the rearview mirror, what is next for you in your excellent wrestling career?
Savannah Andrews: I know, I know. I was admittedly a little sad to hear about it when the news first broke. Petey and I have had our differences lately, but we’re still friends at the end of the day. He understands. For me, I’m not quite sure what the future holds. I’ve made a lot of bad decisions that have made people lose faith in me, but I’m going to do my best to get myself back where I need to be and to keep my head on straight this time. No more distractions, no more people getting in my way. Just enough time to claw my way back into potential championship contention hopefully.
Denzel Porter: Championships are very important and I just happened to notice your name not be associated with the Legacy Championship, is this a Championship you have a goal to win, or is there another Championship in Project Honor you deem more valuable that you would like to win one day?
Savannah Andrews: Legacy Championship is currently held by my absolute best friend, Billy Bennett. So, it’s not something I’m after just get. I’ve got my eye on the Ascended Prime Championship. Looks pretty hefty, could definitely use a pretty face to hold it.
Denzel Porter: I could definitely see you holding that Championship one day, now before I let you go I just have one final question. Is there anyone out there you haven't faced that you would like to?
Savannah Andrews: Tough question, I’ve faced a lot of people that I’ve wanted to face. I guess a good one would be Havoc. I haven’t faced him one on one before, but I’m hoping one day it’ll happen. If not Havoc, I’ve got my eye on Tate Selby as well, a newcomer who has shown a lot of promise. I think there’s always room for change and to face so mnay people.
Denzel Porter: Those would be some amazing matches and hopefully one day will get to see them but for now that's all the time we have and I thank you once again for stopping by. For the people at home I thank you as well for tuning in to another Breaking News Interview.
