Inside of a private studio of E-Wrestling News, there are two couches set across from each other with a table between both of them. The lighting is well placed for the center of the studio where the center of attraction will be ; Denzel Porter sits on one couch and is dressed professionally. Denzel opens with a greeting.
Denzel Porter: Thank you for tuning in on this day, and I do have a special guest here with me: a former Marine and a star of ECWF, and, of course, of many more places; she's also one of the most talented wrestlers in the industry. Please give Nakita Niles a warm welcome, ladies and gentlemen.
Nakita Niles walks from behind the curtains wearing a white dress with matching white heels. She walks towards the couch and sits down on it. She crosses one of her legs over the other and gives off a warm smile to Danzel.
Nakita Niles: Thank you for welcoming me on your show, Denzel. It was an honor that you picked me of all people to come do this interview. Sorry I don't look my best, I just got out of the gym.
Denzel gives a polite nod.
Denzel Porter: No need to apologize I know being a professional is never easy with scheduling and I was more than happy to have you on the show with me today. I've been hearing your name more and more lately in the wrestling business and I just had to sit down with you.
Nakita Niles: Thank you, kindly. It's always nice to hear about my name being put out there. Course, I never wanted my name out there in the first place. I just wanted to be in that square circle and wrestle. But never really knew about it until I started to serve in the marines.
Denzel causes his right eyebrow in curiosity.
Denzel Porter: Interesting, tell me about your time in the Marines and how that experience led you to pro wrestling?
Nakita Niles: Wrestling was a big part of me and the rest of Marines who was station in case of a war. Course, that was our job, right? Anyways, for me, it was to help ease the pain of what happening. When I was only 18 years old, I saw a match that inspired me. There was lots of women in Wrestling that made me want to do it. Alicia Lukas, Kat Jones, Kimberly Pain, and lots of others. Those women showed me that I can be anything I want to be and that's when I decided to be a wrestler. Course, my training in the marines helped me out a bit.
Denzel gives a polite nod.
Denzel Porter: Well let me first say thank you for your service, it is an honor to always meet a member of the arm forces and those are some impressive names that you were inspired by. All legends throughout the wrestling industry and they really have paved the way for women's wrestling, but tell me where did you get your start in pro wrestling when you left the Marines?
Nakita Niles: Let me start of by saying, yes. Those women paved a way for women like me and all those other female superstars that going around today. Anyways, where I got my start was honestly in ECWF. That company got me on my feet when nobody else would. They gave me a chance and I took it. Now look at me. I'm a ECWF World Heavyweight Champion, a Trios Champion, and I won five awards and I'm still a rookie in this business. I did something that no man or women can do in five years or even dream of doing.
As she spoke gracefully. She smiles at Denzel and kept her eyes on him for the interview. She rest her hands on her legs like a lady before continuing.
Nakita Niles: But that's just what some people are saying.
Denzel makes an impressed facial expression and then looks down at his notes for a minute.
Denzel Porter: That is an impressive resume you have made for yourself. Someone having a great rookie year like yourself is rare, a very rare talent indeed but tell me which Championship has meant the most to you so far and are there either Championships you like to win ECWF?
Nakita Niles: That’s a good question, Danzel. But I have to say that winning the ECWF World Heavyweight Championship. I think the only reason I was even put in the match for the title is because I won the X-Factor match against 6 other guys bigger then me. I was able to cash in the contract to be put in the Horror of Chamber match, which no female has done before. That’s something that means the world to me. As I’ve said when I first got into this business, I said I was going to break the cycle. Those are my own words, along with, Wake up! Work! Win! But I\ve always believe that if you have faith in your abilities, then nothing can go wrong. If you don’t have faith in yourself, then you have nothing. But I was raised by my parents to believe in god and believe in yourself.
Denzel Porter: Excellent and I must say I enjoy that passion and fire you have for this business. As long a you have that drive it can take you anywhere and with being so dominating already in ECWF and making history so early do you have any plans to venture into another promotion to create some more history?
Nakita Niles: I’m in NFW, DCW, and PWE. But those are the only ones that I’m in now. I’m in talk with another company, but I’m not going to spill the beans on that. In NFW, I have a title match against a fellow Queen in March Mayhem. But that’s only if she makes it there with the belt. But right now, my focus is on ECWF and trying to take the belt away from Heather Haze to become a triple crown champion. This is something that means everything to me. For the first time in ECWF history, a rookie is main eventing Starrcade. That’s something that means everything to me. My father and mother has always told that I can do anything I want. When I served, they trained me to be a killing machine. I use that training in the ring and it worked out for me.
Denzel nods his head as he looks impressed.
Denzel Porter: Look at you keeping your lips sealed but I respect it on the scoop but I am so impressed with how well you are doing in this business and I just know with your passion you will reach all the goals you have for yourself. Now with that said is there anyone you haven't met in the ring yet that you would like to?
Nakita gives off a slight little chuckle from the question he pointed out.
Nakita Niles: If I was to tell you, I would have like a clipboard for all the people that I would love to test my skills against. I mean, I can give you a few names, if you would like. There’s Kimberly Pain, Brennan Devlin, Kat Jones – if she was still wrestling, and so many other people. But I can’t say them all because I’m sure your show doesn’t have enough time for me to say about who I want to face in the ring. If it finally happens, I promise you that I’m going to do whatever it takes to win. But who knows, maybe one day I’ll sign up for the Denzal Porter invitional thing that you have. I think that would get me to meet a lot of people.
Denzel makes an exciting facial expression.
Denzel Porter: Well consider this your Invitation to next year's event. I'm always happy to give new talent a chance to have a big moment at the DPI.
Nakita Niles: If my scheduling would be right, then yeah. I mean, think of all the little girls out there that's being told they can't do something. When they look at me, they see a woman who can do anything without the need of being approved by other people. Danzel, when I joined this business, I was told you need to be a certain way. They say I needed to fit the mold. But I thought, why fit theirs when I can make my own, right? I also believe in giving back to the community. Like charity and stuff like that.
Denzel Porter: The best always found a way to stand out, the ones that flocked to the groups get lost in the shuffle from my experience with the business but it's nice to see a pro wrestler give back to the community. Any charities you would like to tell the fans about?
Nakita Niles: Gosh, there's so many out there. I'm not sure which one people haven't heard of. American Red Cross, Feeding America, St. Jude, DAV which stands for Disabled American Veterans, and so many others. But there's more out there as long as you take the time to look it up.
Denzel Porter: Those are wonderful charities and I know they can't thank you enough for your generosity and for giving then a spotlight today but before we go is there anything else you would like to say to your fans?
Nakita put her hand on her chin and begins to think about what she wants to say. She lowers her hand and smiles.
Nakita Niles: Yes I do, Danzel. I want you all to watch Starrcade. I want you all to see me choke out Heather Haze and force her to tap out. At Starrcade, I'm finally taking the trash out once and for all.
She smiles she leans down and grabs her purse. She goes inside it and pulls out a ticket.
Nakita Niles: Here you go, Danzel. Front row ticket to Starrcade. I want you to see it live at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
She sets it on the table and smiles at him. She reaches into a plastic bag and pulls out a Nakita Niles #BetOnMe official t-shirt and sets it on the table.
Denzel Porter: Thank you Nakita I'll definitely be there live in person for Starrcade and everyone watching at home I encourage you to tune in for this big match and make sure to pick up Nakita Niles #BetOnMe official t-shirt. Now unfortunately we are out of time for today but tune in next time for another BreakingNews interview.
